I have not seen so much, but still make this article. Since I had a smaller walk today and finally made a few overview pictures and I could also see the Fujiyama (Mount Fuji). Unfortunately, he was a little cloudy,hope he is nevertheless good enough to recognize in the picture. I have been told in summer that he is best seen, but then he does not have snow on top anymore.
Shizuoka is a large city with about 1390 km2 and about 702000 inhabitants. Does not feel too crowded, even though many buildings are squeezed because also the grounds are very small. It is located directly by the sea and is surrounded by mountains. The city also has a castle, which I still have to visit (need more time!).
During the walk, I came across two smaller mountains that stand out from the cityscape like lonely islands. The mountains / large hills are more or less intact and you can almost no longer hear the city in some places (on Sunday). The first thing I noticed was the fact that he had a lot of cherry trees on one side, so that the entire page had just the color of the cherry blossom (no exaggeration). Looked good. Besides, there were many shrines and temples on both mountains.
