Tokyo – National Garden Shinjuku

Tokyo – National Garden Shinjuku

In the morning we went to the Shinjuku district. The garden originally belonged to a daimyo, a feudal lord, but passed into the possession of the imperial family and is now open to the public. It has a circumference of 3.5 km and due to the Golden Week we didn’t even have to pay an entrance fee.

The garden also has a small French garden section.
