I am still alive or rather I am still working. This time I had not free in the actual sense, but because of a conference at the Kansai University I had the opportunity to go to Osaka and could hang a day and a half to have a look around. Therefore this time 3 entries come consecutively, because I could make a few photos. As one could also hear from the news in Germany, on my day of arrival Typhoon Jebi came across Japan directly in the region around Osaka.

Well, if you don’t have a topic to talk about, you talk about the weather or food. In my case it’s about food again. Nothing new in the East so far. Lately I haven’t done anything I could mention in this blog or I don’t have enough for one entry alone. Many little things, yes, but they cannot be brought together thematically. (South-)Korea – Daegu

Korea!? I think the guy’s in Japan! This is what some of you might have thought after this article title. Well, on a short notice it turned out I should be going to Korea for a symposium. We flew via Central Japanese Airport in Nagoya . The airport is located on an artificial island in front of the city itself.
